Across the Universe

Across the Universe
Dear Prudence, won't you come out to play
Dear Prudence, greet the brand new day
The sun is up, the sky is blue
It's beautiful and so are you
Dear Prudence won't you come out to play

Dear Prudence open up your eyes
Dear Prudence see the sunny skies
The wind is low the birds will sing
That you are part of everything
Dear Prudence won't you open up your eyes?

My Favorite Song

Edgar Winter on The Midnight Special in 1973. Note his talent at playing multiple instruments through the entire song. Unfortunately I was too stupid to go see him a few years ago when my parents did. Hopefully I'll get another chance. This song is called Frankenstein and it is my favorite right now. Normally I just post lyrics to songs, but this one has no words, so yeah...He is an albino, and so is his brother. It's really cool what the lights do because of that.

She Had Skills

How many musicians out there do you know of that can sing perfectly and drum at the same time? Karen is the only one. She was amazing.

Dana Fuchs

Dana Fuchs from Across the Universe sings a cover of Helter Skelter (The Beatles). She has an incredible voice and reminds me so much of Janis Joplin. Maybe it is Janis all over again.
